Both of these airports could be called Milan International airport, as they have international flights that arrive and depart daily. Major airline carriers from outside Italy include: Air Canada, Alitalia, American Airlines, British Airways, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Northwest Airlines, and United Airlines. From inside Italy, airlines include: Air One, Alitalia, and Meridiana. To a great extent, Milan Italy airport usage depends on which airline you use.

Travel Guide

Getting from either airport to the city center of Milan is smooth and convenient and you have a number of options. From Malpensa you can use the train - Malpensa Express to the station “Cadorna”. It costs about 15 euro retun and is a trip of about 40 minutes. There are also taxis to the city center but this is a longer trip and most people use the train.

Linate is nearer to the city and you can take a cab to the centre for less than 20 euro or there is also a shuttle bus service from the Linate to the main Milan Railway Station and other bus services from about 3 euro.

There are Tourist Offices in the Arrivals area of both Linate and Malpensa Milan Airports.
