Tram Tours
A tour of Milan City on one of Milans carefully restored trams is one option for a tour. It leaves from Piazza Castello and goes around Milan for about two hours leaving you back to the Piazza Castello. The cost of this trip is €20 but it does not cover entrance to any of the attractions on route. Trams depart at 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00 but only the first two trams depart in the winter schedule. Also note that this tour does not run in the second half of August.

Milan Down Through the Centuries
Half Day Tour
This wonderful Milan sightseeing tour takes its travellers through many of the historic parts of Milan covering the Basilica of Sant'Eustorgio as well as Porta Ticinese, Duomo (The Cathedral), the Piazza Mercanti - Broletto, the remains of Palazzo Ducale of Visconti, and Loggia degli Osii. Those on the tour can also enjoy shopping along the way

Milan and the Last Supper
Unless you have made a previous reservation the only way to get to see Da Vinci’s Last Supper in the Santa Maria dell Grazie Church is to take an APT bus tour. This tour departs daily from the Piazza Marconi 1 - this is the APTinformation office just off Piazza del Duomo. Be there in good time - it departs at 9.30 am each day - buy your ticket for €40 and enjoy your three hour tour of Milan - the Cathedral, Sforza Castle, La Scala with all entrance fees included.

Porta Venezia and The Porta Venezia Area.
During this whirlwind tour, visitors can expect to visit the Villa Reale modern art gallery and appreciate its many treasures. Also included are the Castiglioni and Serbelloni Palaces, Casa Fontana Silvestri, as well as the Palazzo Arcivescoville, and Clerici Palace. This tour gives you a taste of how royalty once lived and the wonderful palaces of the dukes and princes of Milan built.

Walking Tour of Milan
One tour runs every Monday and begins at 10am. It costs about 15 euro a person and takes about three hours. It covers many of the historic sights of central Milan and also includes a visit to La Scala. It starts from the APT Information office in Piazza Marconi 1. Tel 02 7252 4300. They can also tell you about other tours.

Lake Como
If you want to get a view of the surrounds of Milan this tour is for you. Your hotel information desk will be able to put you in touch with one of the many tour operators who do this type of tour and will also you relax on a boat as you sail into the sunset on Lake Como.
